Terms of service
Last updated 1 September 2026
These terms govern your use of bolininnan.com. By reading the site or holding a Premium membership you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Using the site
You may read, link to and quote short extracts from our journalism with attribution. You may not republish full articles, scrape the site at scale, or resell access to Premium content.
You agree not to interfere with the operation of the site, attempt to access areas you are not authorised to use, or submit content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringing.
Premium membership
Premium membership grants one reader access to locked articles for the period paid. Monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually until cancelled.
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes where required. We give at least thirty days' notice before any price change affecting an existing member.
Trials, cancellation and refunds
New members may cancel during the seven-day trial at no cost. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal and access continues to the end of the paid period.
If you cancel an annual plan within fourteen days of a renewal and have not read a Premium article in that period, we will refund it in full on request.
Editorial standards and corrections
We aim for accuracy in every story. Where we get something wrong we correct it promptly and note the correction on the article.
To request a correction, email the desk with the article title and the specific point in dispute.
Intellectual property
All articles, photographs, illustrations and the bolininnan name and mark are owned by us or licensed to us. Illustrative imagery may be generated or licensed and is used for editorial purposes.
Liability
The site is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
