We measure which articles are read and how readers arrive, in aggregate. Analytics identifiers are truncated and are never combined with your email address or membership record.

Advertising

Free reading is partly funded by advertising. Where an advertising partner sets a cookie it is disclosed in the consent banner and is only set after you agree. Premium members read ad-light and are not tracked by advertising partners.

Managing cookies

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings menu, usually under Privacy. Blocking all cookies will stop membership sign-in from working.
